On Saturday, Lewis & Clarke and Mike Quinn performed at the Afa Gallery in Scranton, with Lewis & Clarke introducing some new songs in their set and Quinn performing in various band configurations during his.

Quinn, whose sold debut album "Magico" is out Tuesday, first played in an acoustic setting with Brian Langan and Gretchen Lohse -- she plays in the Philadelphia band Yellow Humphrey -- and then in an electric rock format backed by members of Tigers Jaw and Pat Finnerty.

ANOTHER NEW VIDEO FROM MIKE QUINN

With the June 7 release date of his solo debut album "Magico" quickly approaching, Mike Quinn has put out another video, this one for the song "Reforming." You can view it below.

Like this previously posted video for "Big Shit," "Reforming" was done by Philadelphia filmmakers Andrew Fitzgerald and Pat Ganley.

Mike, formerly of And The Moneynotes and Okay Paddy, has many shows scheduled throughout June to coincide with "Magico," which will be released on Scranton's Prairie Queen Records, including: Saturday, June 4 at the AFA Gallery in Scranton with Lewis & Clarke; Thursday, June 9 at The M-Room in Philadelphia with Yellow Humphrey and Holy Ghost Tent Revival; Thursday, June 23 at Littlefield in Brooklyn with Holy Ghost Tent Revival and Hoots & Hellmouth; and Friday, June 24 at Rockwood Music Hall with Holy Ghost Tent Revival.

H81R SETS LAUNCH PARTY

The recently created Northeastern Pennsylvania-based music website Highway 81 Revisited will host a launch party Saturday, May 14, at The Bog (341 Adams Ave., Scranton) featuring performances by These United States, Pappy (of Cabinet) and Mike Quinn (formerly of And The Moneynotes and Okay Paddy).

There is a $5 cover charge for the event, which begins at 8 p.m. Attendees will have a chance to win tickets to the Drive-By Truckers concert at the F.M. Kirby Center and upcoming shows presented by Get Cryptic as well as Prairie Queen Records CDs. We hope to see you there!
